Wagons HO! Draft Horse Workshop 2007

Wagons Ho! Opening up the wilderness! Tilling the soil for bread and sustenance. Modern day sustainability! LincolnShire Farms is a local Christian organic farm which trains Shire draft horses. Come learn how to drive a team of draft horses, starting with the basics and developing skills to help with the fall harvest.

The class size is kept small to ensure a hands-on experience and individual attention from the instructor. There will be some classroom instruction but most of it will be with the horses. Ages 18 or 82 (Ages 16/17 may participate with a parent present.) Lodging, meals, free time and classroom instruction will be at LMC.

The cost is $200 per person or $85 per person for parent or other guests who aren't participating. ($5 discount per person if you pay in full one week in advance.)
